We drove down to Dover through rain and when we got there it was windy and very misty. We caught up with Faith and Quentin then looked around Dover Castle in the afternoon. it was very impressive and would have had fantastic views on a sunny day!
We got the ferry - it left at 8.50 - and arrived in Calais 1 and 1/2 hrs later but their time is 1 hr ahead. We slept in an aire (a parking area for trucks, vans and cars) in the back of the car, very comfy.
That castle is really amazing. I wondered when the weather was going to change!!! Rainy and stormy here at the moment and freezing. Great photos, really enjoy seeing what you're up to and where you are. Love Elaine

Went to Paihia and Russell and walked up Flagstaff Hill. Reminded me of the time Malcolm tried to kill at Long Beach climbing that driveway.
