Red road through
trees
Today was basically
a road from the northish west to the southish east od Sweden through a pine
forest. The weather was pretty grey most
of the day. The only interesting thing we
found was a 3 metre long rock carving called Sigurdsristingnen - carved around
AD 1,000. It shows Sigurd slaying the
dragon Fafnir. Sigurd is described in
Beowulf etc and the story inspired Wagner's ring cycle (not a bike apparently)
and of course JRR Tolkein.
