Nek Minute - back in England

Geneva waterfront

leaving Calais

the other ferry - going to Calais

We left our campsite in France - and drove back into Switzerland briefly, through Geneva, which looked really nice but we didn't stop because we were on the way north to Calais.

We spent the day driving through France on the motorways.  We got to Calais at 7.00pm and got on the 8.00pm ferry.  So far, so good.  We thought it would be a quick drive up the M1 back to Nottingham but were held up by a bomb scare in the Dartford tunnel, accidents and road-works.  Finally we got to mum's at 2.00am.
